2010 One Field and Two Day Field plus Critique Workshops
One Day Field Workshops
Come learn new
photographic skills and practice old ones with an all
day photo workshop. Nature photographer and
photographic teacher Les Saucier will conduct three
one-day nature photography workshops in his own
backyard. He will instruct and demonstrate
traditional photo techniques plus new and innovative
techniques - wide-angle macro, near-far landscapes,
Orton Effect, intimate landscapes and macro
flashlights to help you with your photographic
creativity. These workshops will be limited to only
seven participants to insure maximum time for
individual photographic coaching. Les will be
assisted by awarding wining nature photographer John
Schornak.

Two day Field and Classroom Workshops
The advent of digital photography has changed
some of the skills and techniques for capturing
wildflower images. The purpose of this 1½-day
workshops is to bring photographers up to speed
with the new technology. The participants will
learn about traditional flower portraits,
intimate landscapes, wide-angle close-ups and
telephoto close-ups of wildflowers. Digital
skills such as digital workflow, correct white
balance, extending depth of field and stopping
motion digitally will be demonstrated in the
field. Students will also be guided in creating
their own digital images in the field. It is
highly recommended that photographers use
digital SLR cameras and tripods for this
workshop.
The first day of this workshop is in the field and the second (half day) is in the classroom. The classroom work will be a critique of the previous day's field work.
